A curious soul and explorer on this wild journey of life — with a passion for people and consumer brands.

For the past 20 years, I’ve built and led marketing teams across some of the world’s most influential consumer tech companies, from early-stage startups to global platforms like Pinterest, Amazon, Twitch, and Microsoft. Today, I work as a consultant, advisor, and fractional CMO—helping founders and organizations scale with clarity, creativity, and pragmatism. My strength lies in diagnosing the heart of a business and fine-tuning the systems that allow it to thrive. For companies looking for more than a single operator, I co-founded Penknife Collective, a fractional GTM team of seasoned specialists in growth, brand, content, product, and marketing..

Raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i and shaped by years in Seattle, I’m now based in Northern California, guided by curiosity for what’s ahead. My academic path took me through Seattle University (BA in Business Administration, Marketing) and the University of Washington (Master of Communication in Digital Media), before returning to Seattle U as an Adjunct Professor in Marketing Analytics.

But my story doesn’t stop at marketing. Entering midlife has invited me into a new kind of awakening—one that embraces the many roles I hold: mother, wife, daughter, reflective writer, experimental chef, unfolding artist, lifelong learner, and human in service to others. Through my Substack, Liminal Space, I share raw reflections on navigating transitions, creative exploration, and finding purpose. And starting in 2026, I’ll begin guiding small groups on a journey back to wholeness with HANA Retreats—a luxury wellness experience in Seoul designed to blend medical health exams, beauty treatments, yoga, meditation, and cultural immersion. “Hana” (하나) means “one” in Korean, a reminder that mind, body, and spirit are inseparable.

Community and impact remain central to my journey. I serve on the board of the Imagine Institute, a professional development organization that empowers individuals to start and sustain their own family home childcare businesses. As a 1.5-generation Korean American, I am committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion—especially for AAPI communities, women, and parents balancing work and family life.

At this stage of life, I am devoted to living as a whole person. Whether through marketing strategy, exec coaching, reflective writing, or simply cooking a meal for loved ones, I’m continually exploring what it means to create, connect, and belong.
